One of the valuable actions of Natanz Iron Smelting Complex is the creation, expansion and maintenance of all kinds of plants, according to the water and air conditions of the region. The selection of suitable plant species for the region and the investigation of the effect of irrigation regimes and the effect of air pollutants on them have been based on the results of the typology research project on trees and shrubs.More than 75% of the mentioned green space is irrigated through treated wastewater, most of which is in the form of drip irrigation. .
The integrated treatment plant works on the basis of chemical, physical and biological treatment (activated sludge) and supplies the water required for the green space according to the environmental standards. It is hoped that in the future, using advanced methods, it will be possible to use purified water at the level of industrial water for the iron smelting plant.
