230 kV substation and line

The construction of 230 kV substation and line of Natanz Iron Smelting Complex started in 2008 with the cooperation of domestic companies in the construction sector (construction of the foundation of the equipment and control building) and companies in the field of supply and installation of substation equipment on a land of 3000 square meters and in 2012 It was put into operation.

In terms of technical specifications, this post is designed in such a way that it has 3 Bay each of which has 2 transformers with a voltage level of 230.33 KV and a power capacity of 125 megawatts. In total, the substation has 6 transformers, of which one transformer is placed in the circuit as a relay..
All the equipments used inside the substation, including relays, keys and control equipment, are of the highest quality and from well-known European brands in the supply of the electrical industry.

The integrated substation is designed and equipped to meet all current needs and future plans based on development plans.

The 230 KV double-circuit line project from Ardestan to the complex has started to operate in 2008. that the task of this line is to supply electricity to Natanz iron smelting complex substation. The distance between the two substations is about 45 kilometers and it has difficult to pass and mountainous areas, which in total was connected to the regional power grid and the nationwide power ring of the country by installing 128 substations of 230 KV Natanz iron smelter. This connection caused the amount of load to be reduced in the region and simultaneously with the development of the future plans of the complex, the electrical needs were met.
